Looks pretty good! Did you paint the plastic below the chrome bumper?

Retiredtim, Yea I sprayed the bottom quick since it was faded. I'm purchasing an aftermarket bumper for the rig so this one just needs to get me out to San Diego next month.

Speaking of my new bumper. This is the one I'll be going with...

Do you know if the F series bumpers will work on the E series?
A buddy of mine has an offroad style bumper he took off of his F-350 i wouldnt mind putting on the chinook if it will fit.

It will not bolt right up. But I'm sure you could make it work, even if you paid a local fab shop to make mounts it would be way cheaper then buying a bumper.

Finally pulled her out of the carport this morning since we leave tonight. Can finally get a picture of the whole rig with the new front end. Can't wait to get it painted this summer!

It will certainly turn some heads and make those that know Chinooks scratch their heads thinking they knew the "end of production" year. :lol:
