1992-1996 Ford fuse box location??

So today I was installing heated front seats in my 1993 chassis Chinook, and of course it turns out that the passenger side seat lumbar pump wires which I had intended to use, had no power.

Okay, no problem... according to the Ford manual, that's on its own fuse, so I go looking for the E350 fuse box under the driver side of the dash... and nothing!

I've looked all over and cannot seem to find the stock fuse box. No doubt it's right in front of me. I found the power distribution box under the hood, but I need the fuse panel that's normally inside, that powers all the cockpit stuff.

Anybody with a 1992-96 Ford Concourse, who can tell me where to look?

Okay, I'm no help since I have a '97, but now I'm curious too.

Nope, worse. I've been driving with one right where it's supposed to be (on the firewall beside the steering column). I just totally did not recognize it, simply because it had a black cover. It's like my brain refused to acknowledge that color.

Man I feel like a dummy, but am glad to have finally seen it

Good news is that yep, the fuse was blown and now the new heated seat works fantastically.

I also found out that the reason it was blown, was something to do with the lumbar support pump. Guess how I figured that out? Yep, by blowing the fuse again, hitting the lumbar switch

Tomorrow I finish the driver's side. Total cost for a kit for both seats, about $60. Would've been half that if I'd been willing to wait for an eBay buy fron China, instead of being impatient and doing Amazon Prime. I'm thinkng seriously of doing the sofa as well, since I use the Chinook to transport a bunch of people now and again.

I have a '93 chassis and mine has 2 fuse boxes. One is above the driver's left foot and the other is under the hood on the driver's side, near the engine battery.

Thank you! I just could not see that one inside behind the brake pedal for about an hour.

It didn't help that Google search results for "E350 fuse box location", had it all over the place. So I guess I was predisposed to not see it there, plus the pictures I had did not show a cover.

Then I saw a post that said it had a cover and might be behind some wires, so I went back out and immediately saw it. D'oh!
