Hello everyone,
I recently came up with an idea for a portable emergency heat source for my RV. I've been watching videos about those portable diesel heaters, and I liked the idea of having something that wasn't permanently installed. That way, I could use it in different situations or during an emergency.
I ordered the new HCALORY 12V Portable Diesel Heater (the 2024 upgraded version) for under $200 with discounts. Then, I had to figure out how to use it in my RV. This week, I did my first test run, and I've already got some additional ideas for modifications.
I think this will be a great backup heat source. It can run for about 50 hours on low with its 6-liter fuel tank, which is more efficient than my propane furnace. Plus, it's much quieter!
I wanted to share this idea with the community. Happy holidays, everyone!

Interesting idea. Is it controlled by a thermostat?
