new dump valves and plumbing

Don't suppose anyone has a write up about replacing the outside valves and associated plumbing? I've noticed a small leak where the grey side connects to the grey tank (some reducer thing right there. I bumped the whole set of pipes almost a year ago before I had the lift done (backing into a spot.. bumped the curb.. used some rubber connectors from home depot at the time to fix.. going to use this leak repair as a good time to replace both valves even though they are fine for now).
I'm wondering if there's a better way.. or just put it back the way it is now?

I think I wrote it up when I replaced both the valves on mine. There was no specific problem - just that they were fifteen years old, and since the holding tanks were basically unused, I figured might as well do it while they were relatively fresh smelling. (That said I have repaired a broken elbow and valve on another rig, and it's not like it was that bad even with "used" holding tanks.)

I don't really see anything I would/could change, given the givens.

Note that (at least on mine) both valves get changed at the same time, due to how the outer piece comes off exposing them both. Mine were Bristol LaSalle valves. Let me see if I can find the thread.
