Back from Dollywood

Post by Flame »

Well, our longest journey yet went off without a hitch!! East Texas to East Tennessee Smokey Mountains National Park and back. 2 tanks I actually got 12 mpg one was around 11mpg and the rest at mostly 75mph I got 10mpg. Don't really know what my hurry was to get home but it showed on the fuel milage. Had a wonderful trip and Dollywood was all decked out in Christmas!!!! Great trip!!

Glad to hear that nothing caught on flame on your trip!

Driving at high speed really make a difference on the gas mileage, but I think it would be a lot worst if it is not as aerodynamic as it is. Anyone want to install one of these on the Chinook and see if it will help?
