235/85/R16 on stock suspension

Can you put 235/85/R16 on stock Chinook suspension? I am looking at lift/locker or 4x4 conversion but need tires kinda now and it may take awhile to decide on if I lift with locker or do conversion, either way I am leaning towards 235/85/16 but not sure if I need to wait after lifting it.

If anyone running this side on stock suspension did you need to do any mods? Any issues with Duallies rubbing?

I don't think the problem will be in the rear. You will probably need to trim the plastic at the bottom corners of the front bumper. You will probably need to do this even when lifted.

Thanks, I really don't want to trim anything, I did that on Jeep GC and prefer not to do it to Chinook.

Ran the rig by the Goodyear shop to have them measure for 235/85/16. With stock suspension, they felt they would rub and with weight of rig the top of rear wheelwell might bounce down on tire. It appears the 215/85 should work fine but I am not sure a tire that small will look good if I put 4"-5" lift on, although it is very close to 225/ in width.

I really wanted tires before lift but looks like I'll get lift put on then decide on tires. Heavily leaning towards Action Van lift.
