The cab isnt that difficult. Unplug the wires under each seat, then remove 4 bolts on the base of each seat, take seat out of truck or move back into sleeping area of truck. Remove plastic entry step panels and kick panels, and doghouse, remove carpet. Install new carpet or vinyl and then put the doghouse back in and your seats and plastics... finished. I got my vinyl floor matt from rockauto and it does take some trimming to get it to fit properly so try not to completely destroy your carpet when you remove it, you may want to use it as a rough template to cut the vinyl floor matt. Again, take your time because it would be easy to cut off to much material when fitting and once cut it cant be put back on, but you can always order another matt if you mess up, they are only like $100.... obviously its best to do the vinyl floor matt when its warm outside unless you have a shop because the vinyl matt is harder to work with when it gets cold, it doesnt flex as easily

You make it sound so doable!! And yeah, having the carpet as a template would be a VERY good idea. Thanks!

You can cut the vinyl floor matt with a good quality pair of scissors, i wouldnt recommend trying it with a knife because its to easy to over cut or make a mistake with a knife. It cuts easily with good scissors if its not cold.

Just thought i would throw this on here. I was browsing for some side window weatherstrip on a ford parts site and they do list and sell the OEM Ford vinyl floor mat but it lists at $487 dollars.....

I can't believe you found that! I looked and looked. (And found numerous threads online of other people looking and not finding.) Thank you for posting it!
I know this is probably shocking, but I would consider paying that for true OEM. (Luckily I don't have to right now as my carpet is okay and I have it covered up with dark grey "puzzle foam" that I cut to fit.) So I don't need that floor. No, really, I don't .... (willpower starts to slip).
But, but.... so tempting!! I was green with envy when a friend who just ordered a new Ford truck was able to simply select "carpet delete" AND get $50 credit. (Which gives him the stock Ford vinyl floor.)

If i hadnt already paid for and installed this ACC mat i would get one myself

It says cant be shipped, i added one to my cart to see what it said and it says PICKUP meaning no shipping. Guess a person can order from a local dealership with part number Part #: 3513000

So I started wondering if it was for sure the right part, since it seemed so hard to find before. I couldn't get thhe linked site's other tabs to work for that part (description, specs etc.). But when I put the part number into Google, it comes up on several other dealer sites as "Front Mat" CARPET. Nooooooo!
Stupid carpet
(I think I had the part number for the vinyl front floor at one point in time.... now where did I put it?)

They have photos of the mat on the page and its a vinyl mat not carpet, you can find the carpet on the other pages. Best thing to do is contact your local ford dealership because it appears thats what you have to do anyway if you want to order one. I googled it and it shows its a 9C2Z-3513000-BA front floor mat.

Ya im 99% certain its the right number and a mat not carpet. If you guys wanna gift me $300 dollars i will order one to verify....

But anyway in Blu's case im not certain what the difference between his year and mine would be as far as a floor mat goes. It gives a manufacture date for fitment.
