Gah, yeah. I think most replace at six years (by date code of mfgr, not by when purchased). I have heard Michelin will "let" you go ten with yearly inspections after six years (by them?). For the relatively low price of our stock size tires, I just change them at six years or before. Maybe I'd go through the inspection/worry if I had a class A and a new set of tires was $6k. Although not original, but not much better, the tires were made in 10th week of 2005.....rig only has 78k miles but clearly need replacement.
