My Premier had vinyl graphics so it's different from the concourse, but thought I'd chime in anyway.

To my taste, the original graphics looked cheesy (and faded), so I removed the stripes entirely with a rubber wheel. It was a lot of work, but it looks much better to my eye. And buffing is a bit easier now.

I'm not one for flash, so I removed my simulators and painted the wheels, grille, and lower front bumper black (all of those were gray). The windows are basically black, as well as the mirrors, so it's a bit of a motif . All said, I think it looks much better without the graphics. As always, different strokes for different folks.

I'm with you 100% brother. Nice to know there are are others thinking the same.

Just reading through these threads long after they have been posted. I have seen renovated Chinooks on-line that are without the stripes and decals. I actually think they look more timeless with less stuff applied. In my opinion, the best look is when the bottom 1/4 of the body is painted grey or black with that texture (Raptor?) paint which hides all the crap being flung up from the road, and from there up, one color.
