I am getting my mom's 2000 Concourse ready to sell.
Took it to gas station to fill tank and person at next pump pointed out that there was something leaking under vehicle. Turned out to be a puddle of gasoline. I had pumped just over 20 gallons into tank. Looked like close to a gallon had spilled from somewhere. It was not overflowing from the gas cap area where I was standing. It looked to be dripping from the center of the underbelly about parallel to the gas cap. Gas gauge was reading close to full but not full.
It was too hot to get underneath. I am willing to crawl under there but not sure what to look for. Any advice/experience would be appreciated.
Gasoline overflow (mystery spill at pump)
Re: Gasoline overflow (mystery spill at pump)
that is a strange one, the one spot that comes to mind that could leak is a hole in the filler vent hose, or the generator fuel line
1995 chinook concourse soon to be cummins power
Re: Gasoline overflow (mystery spill at pump)
Thank you for your reply. It was a cracked filler hose. Had a hard time finding a good replacement, but we finally found something that worked.
