Question, as I may have just discovered that John sent me an E450 front end rather than a newer E350.

How do you tell the difference between the E350 and E450 front suspension?

The E350 was pretty much ended in 2015 except for commercial vehicles, from what I was told. The difference between the newer than 2008 350 and the 450 is the differential gear ratio (4:10 to 4:56 I believe), and the frame. The other front suspension parts are pretty much interchangeable, so that's why it works and was ok'd by John.
Therefore, I don't think one can tell a difference except for better braking (bigger brakes), and the different sway bar you will need.
