That was a typo. Frame rail.

I think the first thing that needs to happen is a fuel pressure test while under load. I would do it if I knew how to remove the dog house cover. Otherwise the repair place will have to do it when they look at it next Monday. I tried two Ford dealers for the fuel pump driver. One gave me a bogus part number and the other spent like 10 minutes researching it and said he could find no evidence in the diagrams or part number searches that the 1998 E350 V10 had a fuel pump driver module.

LOL, sounds like you need to just take it to a shop.

Yes, I have taken to a shop twice already as I detailed in my original post. Just trying to get some help from people on here who may have a better idea of what the issue is than the shop. Plus this post will help people in the future that have this problem. I will post the solution to the problem when it is figured out.

But if anyone could share how to remove the dog house cover, that would really help, then I could start troubleshooting the engine myself.

Once again, you need to take it to a shop. If you dont even know how to remove the doghouse you have no business messing with the fuel system.

JabberBox, I don't need your help thanks. I have built numerous engines, installed transmissions, etc. I have been maintaining my vehicles for over 30 years. I think I am more than qualified to work on the fuel system.

For the doghouse cover, there are 3 or 4 latches that you need to flip to release it. Check this video out and see if it is helpful enough:

I think it is easier to take the cover off than put it back on again. It took me a few trials.

Thanks. I just took the doghouse cover off. The bottom latches need to be unlatched and then rotated to get them to release. There are two latches on the bottom and two on the side. The passenger console trim piece needs removed too.

In the first two pictures, is that where you hook the fuel pressure gauge? In the center of the picture. Looks like a valve for a tire.

In the 3rd picture is that hole with the blue circle around it supposed to be open like that?

Thanks.
