HWH jack stores (flips up), but will not close cylinder

Post by ourjunk423@yahoo.com »

2003 Glacier 2500 w/ HWH series 2000 leveling system. Front, right jack will not retract cylinder into shaft. The jack will drop vertically and store horizontally, but the jack will not go in/out of shaft.
Cannot manually make it go in/out using the panel buttons.
Cannot force it in with hammer.
The Solenoid seems to be working - can feel it when buttons pushed.
Anyone else seen this? Maybe a pressure switch?
Thanks in advance.

These are hydraulic pistol, so a hammer will not do you any good. I do not have these fancy leveler, but the good news is that HWH is still in business, and you may want to contact them and see if they can help you with the issue. I am sorry that I can't be much help on this, but hopefully someone will. The facebook group may have more people with the Glacier, and you may want to check there too. Good luck.

There is a way to retract by hand, I will have to look for manual. However, a couple of mine were not working properly and it turned out they need hydraulic fluid, once filled they worked great.

Which brings up another point, anyone install air leveler system on their Chinook?
