its pretty straight forward and simple. I stripped everything needed from the donor van in an hour literally. That doesnt count the trip back to the salvage yard the second time to get the radiator support i forgot to grab the first time. But i will take some pictures when i get to it. I couldnt get the plastic push pins out of the grill so i cut them, now i have to order new ones from ford and wait until the get here to get started.

Initially my total cost was $250 at the Upullit salvage yard. That consisted of the hood, both fenders, upper radiator support, plastic header panel upper and lower, headlight assemblies, tranny cooler brackets, hood latch, filler panel, hood prop rod, grill, wiring harness (did not use the wiring harness). But then i forgot to grab the hood release cable so that was a second trip which cost me another $22 dollars. With the misc stuff i had to buy the total cost was right around $350. It took one day to remove the old stuff and install the new stuff. It took a second day to line everything up properly as far as door gaps, hood gaps, ect.... The weather turned nasty before i could redo the textured chip paint on the bottom of the fenders and doors, so that my next project..... from the looks of it thats not gonna happen anytime soon as winter has set in.

I cut off multiple headlight plug sockets to make myself a pair of adapters to plug in the sealed beam headlights using the composite harness so swapping the harness was not a requirement. Swapping the harness would require cutting off the plug end and splicng the wires so that it would plug into the existing harness, not something i wanted to do. That said my new front marker lights on the sides of the headlights dont work yet because i have to trace which wires to splice the little bulbs into.

I have to say your salvage yard is pretty good deal. Those around here are not that cheap. They want $50 for some brake pad, and $75 for a tow hitch. I gave them back to them, and wasted my $3 price to get inside the yard.
