I hope I am not abusing all of your expertise! I’m trying to get my punch list of repairs done before I can get our 1995 Concourse reinspected.
The ABS warning light is on. I have checked and replaced all of the fuses that I think are connected to the brakes. I have also replaced the ABS sensor on the top of the rear diff. I also topped off the brake fluid for good measure.
Does anyone have experience with this problem? I’m at a loss.
Thanks!

Re: ABS light on
I don't. But one thing I'm pretty sure I do remember is that the ABS system changed quite a bit during those mid- to late-90's years. (Not sure if it settled down after that.) Just mentioned it so you are aware in case someone with another year explains how it works.)
I was trying to remember why I even looked into it since mine has been okay so far. Maybe it was when I was researching putting on the new front end, and wondering how/if that needed to be accommodated.

Re: ABS light on
The easiest fix is to put a piece of electrical tape over the light.
Seriously though, check the front reluctor rings and their sensors.

Is the chassis 2 wheel or 4 wheel ABS? were any codes scanned?

Re: ABS light on
There should be a ABS sensor at each wheel. They can just get dirty and need cleaning or one of them may need replacing.

If the vehicle has been in an area where they salt the roads "Rust Jacking" of the sensor is a common problem as well.Flame wrote: July 20th, 2020, 3:06 pm There should be a ABS sensor at each wheel. They can just get dirty and need cleaning or one of them may need replacing.
