This is one of the latest consoles, and has lots of cupholders, nooks, and crannies.
That's the one I finally settled on (I have a collection by now ). That is a good price for "nowadays" and it IS nice to have a new one. Nothing wrong with resurrecting an old one, but a brand new clean one is also nice.

Did you write that up somewhere? I have those Beverage Mate wires just doing nothing; maybe I should put them to work.

PS: Remember the good old days, when consoles were $25 or so? Luckily that's when I began "collecting" them. That said, I did pay around $100 for a brand new one pretty much just like the linked auction a couple of years ago (after they became unobtanium priced). It was NOS from a Ford dealer on eBay.
