New owner - Interior Mattress Topper/ cabinet question

Post by h2oman7 »

Hello. First time owner and first posting here. I have used the search tool to attempt to find info on my question, but some of items of out of date/products no longer for sale. We are in the process of buying a 2005 Chinook Glacier LE, but it is still at the dealer shop. I know we are going to need a mattress topper for sleep comfort. I have purchased a sofa slip cover to go over the jack knife bed, but would like to place a mattress topper also. We are used to sleeping on a Tempur Pedic bed, and noticed that Tempur pedic sells a mattress topper - has anyone tried this or can any one recommend a good mattress topper. We prefer a firm mattress and something that regulates body temperature ( don't like being hot).

Also, any simply recommendations for storage containers that easily fit into the cabinets above/ and kitchen storage ideas? Maybe a hanging shelf for the closet? Again I did a search but some things were outdated so if anyone has any current ideas or even measurements ( I won't be able to measure till we get it from the dealer).

Thank you all from this first time poster! Appreciate your help and ideas. Thank you. Dave W

I use dollar store plastic "shoe boxes" with lids. They fit in the overhead cabinets nicely. Most are clear enough to see through but can easily be labeled with a felt marker. Lids snap on so stay in place. It will surprise you how many of those you can put up in those cabinets!

I use sterilite containers that I buy from my local Fred Meyer (Kroger) store. They work well and also nest. Larger ones in the over head and under the sink and smaller ones in the side over head. I also use them in my home. Especially in the pantry.
