Your explanation sounds totally reasonable, so no blame to the PO.

I'm going to imagine that the dinette location will be a palace to work in as opposed to the seat base box for the forward club chair (what I have). Whoever installed the seat base box after the furnace was in (it had to go in that order) must have drawn the short straw. Getting to the fasteners was brutal! However that was the seat box base fasteners, and not only is the club chair seat base box smaller, but the top does not come off. So I had to work only from the side opening, with very little clearance. Still, even with that, I had it out in an hour or so. And putting the box in and out without the furnace there is easy peasy. Anyway, I bet you will have a much easier time of it (if you even have to remove it, which you may not).

Here is a link to the thread, if you are interested:

I found your thread and read through it, I may have to go that route. I thought that I had found my problem with the furnace. I was looking at the air in and out fixture on the passenger side and saw what appeared to be a wasp or daubers nest. I took the cover off and found the air intake to be completely clogged with old nests. I cleaned it out and reattached and resealed the fixture and had hopes that the burner would now come on. Alas though, no such luck it still didn't come on. The water heater doesn't come on either. Bummer!
