Thought I'd share this DIY brace for the over-cab cabinet. A gift from a previous owner.

The metal piece at the joint looks custom made to me. Lots of tool marks.

1999 Premier, now minus all passenger side cabinets and appliances :twisted:

Very nice interesting mechanism there. I bet he/she can do dovetails and other fine carpentry. However, the original shock is relatively cheap, and I don't have the skill to do such fine woodwork.
