Anyone know of a good deal for sale?
Anyone know of a good deal for sale?
Hello forum friends. I'm actively looking for a new rig. Anyone know of a good deal for sale? (I know that's an open to interpretation, but I'm being open minded.. but I am cheap hahaha)
Re: Anyone know of a good deal for sale?
I see some relatively cheap ones, but you get what you pay for and so they are not a good deal. I saw a Toyota Chinook for around $1000 a while ago, for example.

I watch all the time. There's a 1989 near San Francisco for around 10K. Needs to be looked at to find out why the cooling system doesn't work right before you take it out of town. It sat for five years, so could just be a stuck thermostat, or a water pump?I'm actively looking for a new rig. Anyone know of a good deal for sale?

Other 1988-1992 vintage, there's a 1989 on the Chevy Chassis, a bit overpriced but looks nice.

My 1997 Concourse is going on the market. Just purchased a 2004 Glacier with 11k miles. Asking $18,000
1997 Chinook Concourse, club lounge, high miles, 2" suspension lift, new factory Ford Reman installed by Ford dealer (April 2019, About 20K on rebuilt E4OD trans with HD torque converter ( July 2018). 209K on Odometer.
Wasn't planning to sell. Planned on another 100K+ miles. Would drive it anywhere, any season. Tons of upgrades. I'll let you know everything I know loving it, driving it, improving it the last 5 years.

Sorry to see it go but I guess the Glacier will give you more room, are you lifting glacier and upgrading tires as the Concourse or are you keeping stock?b6fischer wrote: July 14th, 2019, 5:26 pm My 1997 Concourse is going on the market. Just purchased a 2004 Glacier with 11k miles. Asking $18,000

Already installed Goodyear Wrangler 215/85R16. Very impressed with E450 rear suspension height. Will look into leveling the front 1-2" over time.
