Re: IKEA Interior Remodel
Ordered some new locks for all the outside compartments. Went with these Combi-cam locks, hopefully they work out. Thought it would be nice not to have to worry about a key and they can’t be much worse the the key style ones security wise. Ordered dust caps for all of them to help prevent them from gumming up.

Now if you put a UPS-like logo on it, you'll be able to park anywhere
It's fun to see the difference a change in paint makes, isn't it? Totally different look.

Need to remove the front doors if you want a UPS-que look. Maybe it is perspective, but it looks more like a truck than a van to me with the brown color.

This rig is über cool in so many ways! It’s Mad Max meets SWAT but manages to be sleek and gorgeous at the same time.
Those combo locks are a nice touch. Congrats on your beautiful project.
I enjoy seeing the vast ranges of what the owners do to their rigs on this forum. From restorations faithful to the original designs to something completely fresh and fun like this. There are many ways to celebrate these beautiful machines

Test fitting the bike we plan on taking when we hit the road full time in October. I have a few motorcycles but this seems to be the best all around choice to bring with us. Mounted her on the back to take some measurements for the custom bumper. Decided against a custom bike carrier/bumper and going to use the hitch carrier I have and just do a simple bumper with two swing aways, similar to an Aluminess bumper.

Re: IKEA Interior Remodel
Cut the driver side window in over the weekend and got the walls on the inside cut and back up. Redoing the counter top as well since we scored nice oak butcher block from ikea on the “as is” section for $40. Wife ordered some wallpaper last night and spent the whole weekend peeling the old stuff! We will be repainting the upper cabinets I believe cream and then redoing the upper doors in wood. This window project turned into an full interror redo haha. Need to build the new cabinet next, hopefully before we leave for Iceland Wednesday!

Here’s a picture of the countertop, just need to cut in the sink next. Also you can see the new wood on the walls. I re-enforced the large section where the window was with cut down 2x3s (1x2.5) and glued them to the fiberglass. Then I filled in the gaps with foam, and the glued and screwed the lauan board to the 1x2.5s and the exsisting wood on either sides. Just need to bondo all the screw heads and cracks before applying the wallpaper so it’s nice and smooth!
Re: IKEA Interior Remodel
I love everything about your remodel 2.0. But, wow, it's so much work to do that interior again. This was by far the best Chinook reno I had ever seen, and it just keeps getting better.
