I have an appointment at Horizon Ford in Burien tomorrow.
They not only will check that, but I’m having them look at the cruise control, which is sporadic, especially after they did the harness replacement recall last month during the lube service.

Well at least we and you only have to wait one more day
Hope you have a fruitful appointment. Maybe the cruise control will be something they did and won't cost anything. We can hope.
It's nice you have a nearby Ford dealer who can service the cutaway dually chassis.

They are about a half hour away on a good day. Over an hour in traffic.
They do accept these rigs, but still do not put them on racks. They crawl under them!

Re: Strange feel and sound when turning left
Ah, gotcha. I have a trusted local place (from in the past) and it's the same deal, only they also won't crawl under. As a result I can only get a few things done there, such as working on the air-conditioning (which they do just by standing in front of the open hood).
So far I just do a combination of going there when they can work on it, doing my own work when I can or want to, and going to specialty places, such as West Coast Differential, Tireman, John Wood transmission, etc. (good thing I don't mind driving!).
It would be great to have one good place for semi-regular things that could rack the Chinook, was trusted, etc.

Re: Strange feel and sound when turning left
So I went to Horizon Ford today to get the differential service performed. The guy at the service desk never even heard of the limited slip differential modifier additive, so I made sure he wrote it in the service order.
I asked for an estimate, and they didn't know how much it would be. Someone had to call a different place and then they said it would be around $245. Later I was walking around the waiting room and saw a price board on the wall, and a diff service is $188, and I made them aware of it.
Two hours later, they came out and told me that the clutch pack is probably so worn out that it was causing the binding. I told them to still do the service and I would deal with the risk. It fixed the problem. Not sure how they decided that the clutch pack was bad if they didn't take it apart or even test drive it.
Since I was there already, I told them that after they performed the recall on the cruise control brake release, the cruise stopped working. They tested it and said it was not due to the recall repair and that they would have to diagnose it further. By this time I was there 5 hours so I told them to button it up so I could leave. I don't think I'll be going back there.
I'll start a new thread about the cruise control later.

Re: Strange feel and sound when turning left
Geez! Because of reasons with the seller and how we took care of it (and because I was far from home in a large city), I took my Chinook to a Ford dealer right when I bought it. They screwed up as much as they fixed! And they also scoffed at me when I said the rear axle was Limited Slip "No motorhomes have that." "Well okay then I guess the LS on the axle code means Last time I Stop here?" (Of course I didn't say that but I would have liked to!) The guy in the tire shop had never heard of a torque wrench. No, I mean he actually SAID that when I asked what he torqued the lug nuts to.
Sounds like the same dealer
(Only I was in Texas.)
BTW, when I went to the differential shop, they test drove it with me, racked it, opened the differential cover and inspected everything (and showed it to me and explained things); then replaced the fluid and closed things up. I think it was $180.
I wonder how much additive they put in? If there is a way to find out, I would. If you add too much your Limited Slip goes away. For some reason 3.5 oz. comes to mind but don't trust that without checking. I have the Dana 70 rear axle, so you probably do too? There is a metal tag with a number on it; mine is along the right side of the pumpkin facing aft.
I would have told them to forget the cruise control at that point too. Who knows what they might have done?
But at least your "rumble" went away.
