And you're right about the bulletin being for the viscosity only W30-W20, not the full synthetic to blended. I took literary artistic license when I wrote that cuz I'm a lazy writer lol.
I think they either go down to W20 for more viscosity, or blend it with thicker non-syn for more viscosity, but not sure why now. Apparently before, it was to increase gas mileage as mentioned. Maybe I'll go back to full synthetic like you did Blue. The previous owner allegedly did an oil change (no proof, I asked) and said it was with full synthetic.
Funny though, I thought you might join in to clarify. Maybe deep down inside I wondered if you knew about that. I didn't until after the fact, when I got home and googled Ford synthetic vs blended. I didn't know beforehand which type they would use.
