Tried to close awning tonight and it will not close. The part you turn spins but looks like barrel not catching.
Any ideas on how to close without talking whole thing off?

Re: Awning won’t close
Did you get it to close without breaking anything?
I'm having some small problems with mine but at least it closes almost all the way. What was your fix?

Re: Awning won’t close
I already mentioned this, so sorry for the repeat, but.... if it's closing right up to the last point but then stopping before the red tab sucks up, it may just be an adjustment. But even without the adjustment, you can make it close (if this is the problem) by pushing up on the part that is going in to "get it up over the hump" and simultaneously rotating the crank. IF the adjustment is the problem, this will cause it to "go over the hump" and all will be fine.
Then you can either help it each time, or there is an adjustment to make it not need the help.
It could need the help on either one or both of the ends, depending.
Maybe you tried this and it didn't help, but I don't know.
(Obviously don't crank it TOO hard and break something, but if the "helping" is going to work the cranking force will be normal, just you have to push it up so it goes in.)
