Are these correct parts? If so, the rubber socket is worn out, the door won't stay connected to the pin.

Yep, that's what my '94 has. Search for "rv door holder rubber" and you'll find replacement parts like this $10 set on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BKECA8/

But just the socket as low as $3-4 on the internet.

Btw, is your Chinook color kind of purple+pink ? Does it by any miracle still have the color code paper stickers in the driver's door frame?

Thanks!
Kev

Kev-
Yep, that's the color I think. If you need more pics let me know. Thanks for the door info!

Ah, thanks for looking. That one is the cutaway cab Ford color (YY) on the VIN label on the door.

The two Chinook added colors are on smaller paper labels on the door jamb, one per color.

Unfortunately, being paper, they don't seem to survive very long, and are usually long gone on older models like ours.

Hey, my 94 has an RV build label on the right door, which tells when the chassis was made, and when Chinook finished its own build. Does yours? Or did you have a build paper inside the closet?

Btw, your VIN breaks down as:

1FDKE30G9SHB45661

1FD = Ford
K = 10,000 GVW, no air bags
E30 = E350 chassis
G = 460 engine
9 = vin check digit
S = 1995 model year
H = assembly plant Lorain OH
B45661 = build serial number (starts with A, then rolls over to B later in year)

My wife and I just saw one that color yesterday about a half mile from our home. Kinda a Mauve. Looks good!
