1990 E350 Battery isolator

The turn signals on my 1990 Chinook E350 kept blowing a fuse. I finally discovered that the battery isolator was on the same circuit as the turn signals. Once the isolator was disconnected, no more blown fuses on the turn signals, but no house power either. Checked the terminals on the the isolator and all of them are grounded (4 terminals), so I interpret that to mean the isolator solenoid got too hot and the windings have shorted out. Anyone know who makes this isolator? Or maybe you have a better solution?

Later Chinooks used the Sure-Power 1315 bi-directional isolator. Company has changed hands a couple of times and the same product is a Bussman part. 100 Amp version is available on Amazon. Isolator is designed to connect when either side has a charging level (13.x), and disconnect when one side falls to low level (11.x) not sure of the exact thresholds but you get the idea.

A number of us replaced the Original Sure-Power 1315 with a Blue Sea 7622 Separator…the original had recall issues and the Blue Sea has a magnetic switch that sees less voltage drop going to house batteries. There are threads about this other places on the forum (search Blue Sea, separator, sure power isolator).
