I wonder how to inspect my MorRyde Suspension system to see how it's holding up. It's been fine but I drive like Miss Daisy.

Previous owner said MorRyde rear rubber suspension supports failed (i think) and replace them 2011-06-07 at 78,730 miles for $1,014.72.
It's been 12 years since last service on MorRyde. I'm now at 120,500 miles.

You can see if the rubber has failed, or close to failing by visual inspection. When the rubber is ripped, it is very obvious. You can also look for tear and gap in the rubber that is a sign of near failure. Check out some pics on the site for the MorRyde and see if they will give you representation of what a failed one looks like.

Look at the photo from Astrodokk on second page. That looks like a good working one.

Best way is to get under and look at the rubber insulators. I have always been told that you are allowed a tear or crack as long as its a certain size before condemning one. Generally a crack no deeper than an 1 inch is what I go by.
