Super single conversion for 2000 chinook

Post by Burt »

Hey everyone, I am purchasing a 2000 chinook in a few weeks. I’m wondering if anyone has ever done a super single conversion on one of these rigs? Or if anyone knows of any companies that do them.

Thanks in advance.

interesting idea. Are you sure a single could support the weight? wind sheer?
I hope someone swaps the whole chassis for a modern Ford van chassis.. someday.

It sounds great, and help avoid the issue with rocks getting between the dual wheels, for example. But there are negative aspect. For example, it will be a pain to carries spares for the front and back, since they are different sizes.
