Chinook RV

Hi everyone,

Do anyone know the part number for the fuel pump on the 1999 Chinook Concourse? My local shop is having trouble figuring which pump to get.

I got this part number from the Ford dealer: F7UZ9H307BC
They didn't have a picture of it so no way to be sure if it is the correct fuel pump for my RV that has the generator fuel pickup line.

How many fuel outlet does the correct fuel pump have on the top of it?

I have a 2004 concourse v10. I had the pump replaced couple years back. I have the box in the garage if you want the part number off of it?

Thanks that would be great. The repair shop claims they have the correct part now, but I would like to double check that their part # is correct.

I cant find the box but the fuel pump is still here and it has a part number on top of it.

This is what the top looks like. But mine is a 2004 with a v-10 engine. If mine fails again im going to modify the pickup tube on this one by eliminating the pump and lengthening the tube. Then i will install an external high pressure fuel pump and drive it off of the same wires as the old pump.

I made this same modification on a 2003 Mustang Cobra i bought brand new. I yanked the engine, bored the block, installed oversize pistons, race cams, etc.... then installed a massive whipple supercharger running 19 pounds of boost. The engine needed so much fuel that the twin factory in tank pumps coul dnot keep up and the engine woul dfall on its face right at the 425 horsepower mark while making dyno pulls. I took it home, dropped the tank, modified the pump holder, installed two aeromotive external pumps each capable of supporting 700 HP on its own, boost referenced the second pump, went back to the dyno and made just over 800HP. No malfunction lights on the dash or any issues at all with fuel delivery. The throttle was excessively responsive however.

Yes, i dont know of any that came without a generator. Mine showed a 4000 watt onan on the build sheet in the closet. But when it finally gave up the ghost and i yanked it out it was only a 2800 watt onan. I replaced it with a new model 4000 watt onan. But now onan has come out with a small footprint 2800 watt fuel injected unit so im kicking around the idea of switching to it just fo rthe low maintenance fuel injection feature. It seems these carburator models are a constant source of headaches and aggravation.

Off topic, but curious which model is your old Onan, JabberBox. Onan 4000 is rated for 4kW at 500 ft and below. The propane version for the diesel is rated less.

Pretty much every Concourse came with an genset. There were only a few what was order without one.

The old one thats out in the shed or do you mean whats shown on the build sticker in the closet?
