SMan, are you trying to tell the potential thief that the cat is monitored by a GPS chip?

Thieves will always steal. Most are not too bright. That's my hope.

You are correct that thieves will steal. They stole the catalytic converter from my 2002 Concourse. But they were considerate enough to just disconnect the O2 sensor so it saved some expense. Should have used your camouflage idea.

The theives came for my converter. By a miracle, I was sleeping in the motorhome at the time. I chased them off before they could cut very deep. I went right down and had it welded. This happened 4 days before our emergency trip to North Carolina to help our son finish his dissertation by taking care of the grand babies. He got it done in the nick of time , passed his defense and is now a PHD of Philosophy. I don't know if we would've made it if we had to have the converter replaced. The place we had it fixed said that they average 3 a day.

It is fortunate that you were inside the rig when it happened.
