Inherited a Chinook Needs to be Refurbished

Good Evening!

New member here, and looking to you guys for guidance and advice. I recently inherited a Chinook, she has been owned for many years and left outside. The condition isnt terrible but the paint/gel coat seems to be going and the fiberglass (?) is cracking. She is brand new essentially, 18.5k miles, but does anyone have any advice or recommendations for refurbishing and fixing her up? Or is it too far gone? Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Welcome to the forum. That sounds like a nice inheritance. Pictures would help us give better advice. Is it too far gone for wash/wax? Gel coat can be repaired (see boat repair youtube videos). Some members have gone for a whole new paint job to change the color of their rigs. There are several diy upgrades for the interior systems to make the rig more functional.

We bought a 95' with 20K miles five years ago. The exterior was faded and is even more beat up looking now. That being said, it's cosmetic and we've logged 55000 wonderful miles so far. Am also interested in any inexpensive exterior spruce up advice.
