Backup light wire

Where is it? I have removed the driver's side rear light to identify the wire color and checked all the wires of the same color located under the driver's side step with no luck. I am trying to connect my new dash stereo so I have the rear camera active when I shift into reverse.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I actually tapped into the driver's side backup light power wire to feed my backup camera input. I have the camera mounted under the rear step and had to run a cable from there to the driver compartment anyway. I wound up using a cat-5 (Ethernet cable) and used a twisted pair for the video signal and one of the extra wires for the backup signal. I spliced a wire to the backup light through the floor of the storage compartment to the trailer hitch area where the camera is installed. I was a little frustrated trying to find that wire in the cab area as well. The colors seem to change in some of the wiring as different harnesses are employed. Chinook also hijacked some of the trailer harness signals for their own requirements for example, so the colors don't always match.
