Rear View Camera Repair

I'm new to this forum. The back up camera system in my 2005 Glacier 2500 stopped working. The good folks at RV Cameras.com bench tested the camera and it was found to work fine. Troubleshooting the electrical connections and even the visor mounted monitor is proving very difficult. Does anyone know where the power source and ground connection is in this model?

If I remember correctly from reading many of the past posts, the camera stops operating when something gets either disconnected or runs down (sorry I can't remember). If you do a search for backup camera, you may find some information about that. It's been awhile since I did.
I'll try to look it up too when I get back home later.

Found it!
Apparently the screen goes blank if power gets cut off somehow. Not sure how that could affect it, but it does, as this thread indicates:

Thanks for directing me to that post. It was somewhat helpful. It sounds like in a 2000 Chinook the power comes from the vehicle battery but not via the ignition. Anyway I've sent the monitor to RVCAM.com to be checked out (they have previously checked the camera). If the visor monitor also checks out ok we will continue to hunt for a lose wire somewhere. Without a wiring diagram it's proving very difficult to find either a ground or power bad connection. We can get to the six wires going into the visor but that is the only place we can find the power, ground and trigger wires. Any ideas and info on this is much appreciated.--jim

Has anyone figured out a fix for this, or is it a replace the entire system kind of scenario?
