I have serious "phantom load" problems, and as well as searching for the culprits, I want to insure a charge in my start battery by using a disconnect switch when camping or stored. I've read numerous posts on this fine forum, but have not found a description of the actual procedure that Blue-Go mentioned he used to isolate his coach stereo from the start battery:
"So I moved things so that both power wires for the house stereo come from the house bank."
Though I've searched through Blue-Go's posts, and many others, I've not yet found sufficient details to follow through with the procedure. I'm purchasing an ammeter today to find the phantom loads, and perhaps that will help with moving the power wire(s) to the stereo.
Can someone provide more details on this process. The Forum will not let me contact Blue-Go directly since I'm such a newbie.
