Neat pics, personally I think the mid-30's Auburn Boattail was the most beautiful car ever built.

Love the picture of the Studebaker Avanti - came out when I was in my early teens and I always thought that was the coolest looking car ever. Now I drive a house on wheels (Chinook Premier) and a 14 year old Navigator. I guess I'll have to wait to win the lottery to get my Avanti!

From New England to Las Vegas is what this trip is developing into. Oh the power of the In-N-Out Burger!
A first for me today when I crossed through the Eisenhower Tunnel on Interstate 70. Very cool engineering. The Ford V10 is running great. Just turned 80k miles on my 1999 Chinook.

A great day for a ride.

I always like to hear about "crazy" motivations for various trips. So driving cross-country for In-N-Out Burger sounds like an obvious reason to me I've been half thinking about heading up to Oregon simply due to a fish-n-chip craving (although heading to Las Vegas this time of year sounds much better weather-wise).

Our '99's are keeping pace: I think I'm at around 82k.

Stopped at Arches National Park and noticed several locations to dry camp on state and federal property along the way there. Too much soft ground ( mud ) for me, so we moved down the road to a private campground and paid for the pleasure to park in their mud. Duh.
Arches isn’t what I expected, but I’m glad we stopped.
