A cold wet dreary day here in Seattle but I repaired the light bc I'm doing a day trip this weekend and I like to drive with the fog lights on.

Easy enough to splice together once I had all the right parts.

The lens looks brighter because I cleaned and polished it, but it's the same bulb as the other side. I will polish that one as well.

Off topic, but you may want to post about the polishing kit that you used. I am looking for one if you have a recommendation. Does it have UV coating to be applied after you removed the top layer?

No, all I used was McGuire's Plastix and 4-0 steel wool.

By the way, the bulb is Sylvania 893 basic halogen lamp12.8V, 37.5W.

The high temperature headlight socket is Novita SC08.

Both at AutoZone for less than $20.

Working on my 2000 Chinook XL, found that the "most likely" factory install for the chrome bumper valence type was / is the Peterson Safety Co fog lite / driving lite #PM 525.
Luckily, found 2, very cheap on findit parts dot com.
I like plenty of exterior illumination when out on the road, so these should do well. And, they'll slot right into the stainless brackets / use the original wiring harness.
