Nice-looking unit. Best of luck on getting your power problem taken care of--it's great to have technical help available in our forum. :)

Ford often sold over 100,000 E-series a year, sometimes almost twice that. Thus his B3x,xxx would make it probably at least 2/3 through production for that year, and maybe even closer to the end since model years start around Aug or Sept, and his Chinook was built in June 1996, and the 1997 model year would soon be starting.
I just popped into this thread again today and decided to look at my VIN to see. I suspected I'd have a "late" 1998 VIN because I have a '99 Chinook on a '98 Ford chassis. Sure enough, the last part of my VIN is "B" and then close to "90,000" for the last six digits. I guess they made a bumper crop of vans that year! Makes sense, as they had just gone to a new engine, etc. in '97 so probably the Ford E-Series was hot item in '98.

Thanks for your help and input and I will wait to hear from you on the unit.
Jim,

I'm posting here and I'll also send you a PM. Just to cover the bases since it has been awhile. Anyway, I got to my "stored Chinook items" tub and have the shiny blue Sure Power LVD in hand, ready to send to you. How about if you PM me with an address?

As I mentioned before, this is somewhat old tech and not necessarily what I would recommend in a modern system; but I know you want to put your rig back to original, and that it will definitely do.

Just so there's closure: Jim and I connected via PM, and the original LVD from my Concourse is winging its way to his Premier. We have quite a few "cousin" rigs now, what with various parts being shared around :D
