I can see Sman's photo, but still just getting white blanks for Xatlatc's photos (rats!). I don't mean to complain - just hoping it will help to suss out the issue.

I think you are missing a lot. I have no problem... did it started with the new forum software?

That's correct. I never had any problems seeing anyone's photos before (X's were sideways, but that's no big deal). Since the forum update, I can't see X's photos. I can see a white square where they should be, and I can read the caption, but no photo. So far I haven't noticed any issues with anyone else's photos, but of course everyone hasn't posted photos since the update.

Left the Eureka area via US-1 to join the 101 to the Crescent City area and on the way was older and larger redwood trees to view. Parked in the Crescent City harbor/ marina and fired up the generator to make afternoon coffee while watching and listening to the seals and sea lions.

Hello Oregon! The PNW coastline is everything I have imagined and throw in the redwoods as the cherry on top. Found a site at Harris Beach State Park near Brookings for the night.

Ooh, Oregon coast is so nice! Great to see it now :)

And, in fact, I CAN see it because I can see your photos now (again). Some are still sideways but I can handle that.

What happened is that with the new forum update, I can no longer view your photos in my Safari browser whereas I could before the update. That's not really a flaw though, as I am running an older OS and the Safari cannot be updated past a certain point - hence it's understandable that not all things work in it now. I had forgotten I was looking at the forum in Safari lately. Tried your thread in Firefox and the photos are back. Yay!

I up'd the attachment limit from 3 to 4. I can pick any number really, 10? How much is too much?
As for the sideways pictures.. I think I saw some add-on to help with that.. I'll look again. The little I've found so far, the phpbb guys are just blaming iPhone software.. Odd that if I click the image, it opens correct way up (for the bird above anyway.. it did take a bit to download though.. like a dialup connection haha.. must be a big original image file)

Blue.. fyi, I'm use safari 9.1.3 (mac 10.9.5) and see the images ok.
