Did you ever consider putting the acutuator motor inside the rear door?

Yes, I thought about somehow getting the motor inside the door, but I took the easy way out and mounted it on the inside surface of the door. BTW, I ran the 'zip' cord through the wardrobe, behind the refrigerator, behind the microwave, under the overhead storage floor, and eventually under the passenger side dashboard. I've attached a schematic, but, they don't make the KE100 anymore, but any model with the rear opener should work. Note the added relay for the rear.

I'll be adding more posts under other subjects, such as water heater improvement, front door screens, 110V inverter wiring, house battery monitoring, and DIRECTV satellite installation.

as an FYI, the later Concourse's offered central locking with keyfob which had power locks on the cab and rear entry doors. The rear entry door power actuator was internal. The entry door on the 2004 Concourse I used to have was an Atwood model V29403 (as listed on the rear closet spec sheet) and the key fob transceiver system was a Marksman M2. It was nice at night to have the key fob push button lock and lighted handle on the rear entry.
