Re: Suddenly...No tail lights, running lights or license plate light.

I can't remember for sure, but I'm 99% sure it does. I say that because Chinook used the Ford trailer wire harness for all of the taillight stuff. I'll look in my notes and if there is any contradiction to that I'll post back.
If you want to see where that junction happens, you'd crawl under the rear of the Chinook on the door side of the spare tire. At the end of the Ford frame rail (inboard side), there are two "schnozzles," a brown one and a black one. Those are what Ford intended you to plug matching schnozzle pigtails into for powering trailer lights. From those you can see wires that lead across (under the rig) to a spot just inboard and forward of the driver's side taillight, then disappear into a blob of caulk as they go above the floor (they come out in the hidden area next to the driver's side "wall" of the tire locker and then proceed to the taillights).
Wires from the schnozzle(s) also go to the Chinook installed 4-way flat trailer connector. I found all this when I went under just after getting the Chinook because my trailer requires five wires (the extra one is for brake release solenoid on a surge brake trailer). I wired up a 7-way receptacle because regardless of how many wires I'm going to actually use, I prefer those for plugging/unplugging and just the way they wear over a 4- or 5-way flat or a 6-way round. I have an adaptor in case I need to go "down" such as for a rental trailer.
