Inverter installation recommendations?

Ok, I've made a schematic and I think I've figured out the basic system. Posting this for anyone else who may want to do something similar.

Samlex 300w Inverter

3/8" lugs for cable, solder, etc.
terminal distribution studs to split the power to the dc converter and the inveter
16awg wire
2.1mm dc barrel plug male
extension cord
noise suppression core

Not sure when I'm going to get around to doing the actual install. I'm in the middle of replacing the power steering gear/tie rod ends, then i've got a weird stuck lock on the driver's side. After that I'll probably tackle this!
