Yeah, presuming the hole is as big as I'd imagine, it's annoying. One thing you might consider is making a fiberglass backer (could be slightly oversized, nice rounded corners and routed edges) and then gelcoating or painting it to match (or do contrast of some type). You cover the hole with that, and then mount the light to the new board. If you wanted to, perhaps you could make it extra tall and then mount any backup camera to it?

You can buy pre-made FRP board in various thicknesses and sizes from Mcmaster Carr. That'll be essentially the same material the Chinook is made of. If you want to do that, we could discuss it more.

Thanks Blue, I will either hold out for a larger light or build a backer out of something chrome laying around. Or stainless. You would be surprised what you can do with a stainless dog food dish!!

I was looking for the lens, also, and just found this one. The questions for it suggest it will fit the P-1328. I've ordered it today, so when it comes I'll post here if it fits.

"Deco 008089-01-700 Porch Light Lens - Clear", a replacement for a Winnebago porch light.

Well Bobw9 I went and measured my lens and it appears they have the same measurement at least. Did you speak with anyone to make sure they had them in stock? The link says only 3 available. How many did you order? I would take a chance on ordering them also if I knew they had them in stock. But winnabago may have a lot more luck than Chinook. Please do let me know if it works!!! I would guess you could sell them for $50 each as hard as they are to find!! Ha, but wait till I order mine first!!

I'll let you know if the order gets cancelled or when it ships, but note that as of this minute it is down to 1 available. You might want to do like me and just take a chance for $15.

Well, the lens did ship this afternoon, so it really was in stock. May get it by the end of the week, I'll post after I see if it fits.

Bob, how many did you order? How many did they show to have when you ordered yours?

It just came in, and fits perfectly. There are now 6 in stock on Amazon, so it doesn't look like maybe this one is discontinued.

I wonder if we can order some Winnebago part that is identical to the light fixture, itself?

Great news Bob!!! I ordered 2 of them also. That is when the quantity went down from 3 to 1. Mine says it has shipped and possibly be here this Friday. Thank you sooooo much for the tip on where to find them!! I also have some led bulbs coming from e-bay. Less heat and a lot brighter light.
