Hood Latch

Post by Skillet »

I'm assuming the Chinook didn't come with the hood latch release just flopping around like in my photo. What piece am I missing?

I hear ya, but I can't find if there's supposed to be a cover or guide there. When I google I get the latch assembly but no pics or parts of what I'm looking for. Is yours covered or just it just hang there too?

Mine doesn't flop around. It's held solidly in the vertical position (such as if you turned yours clockwise about 45º).

It does help. Looks like I'm missing the square piece with a hole cut out in the middle.
