Everything been working fine. actually drove it 50 miles 2 days ago. came home plugged back in to shore power. walked out there a few minutes ago and the over drivers head little coach battery console with buttons has the in use charging green light on but... the RED light is on and an alarm is going off! I unplug from shore power and everything seems normal. I plug back into shore power and the light and alarm goes off again!! What has gone wrong??

Update... I checked voltage on house batteries and they are both at 12.65 approx. when unplugging from shore power i have NO 12 volt lights. All breakers in inverter are good and working. about 2 years ago i upgraded to the new style inverter. The green light on it is flashing showing all systems are go there. I looked under the hood at the TVO switch and I had to push the button in on it but...that did not solve the problem either?? HELP! We"re going on a 2000 mile trip next month!!

well, nobody posted any ideas what to do to solve the problem but I want to post results for others! I got it fixed!! Took 4 1/2 hours of looking but...I do know a couple days ago the power went out for a brief moment. It actually did that twice. APPARENTLY it shorted out the battery low voltage switch and it set the alarm off even though the batteries are not low! But that kills ALL juice to the DC 12 volt system. Easy fix after finally locating the problem. Switch is located on the floor behind the drivers seat and is covered by a felt covered piece of cardboard to keep it out of sight! I cut the wire off going to the alarm...and then a mounted a jumper wire from one 1/4 inch terminal to the next to bypass the assembly. Everything works as it should! There are still about 4 breakers or relays in line to protect things. Hope this helps someone in the future. 1998 Concourse E-350 Ford with v-10 Triton engine

The low voltage sense wire goes through 15 amp self-resetting breaker between the battery and the LVD. The main 12V goes through a similar 50 amp breaker. It could be the breaker failed open causing the sense voltage to disappear at the LVD. Those breakers are located under a plastic cover behind the driver door running board and are inexpensive to replace.
