Re: Chinook summit ss 2004 any owner out there
Well I generally got our Summit in working order, with the exception being the air seal around the dinette cube will not inflate/deflate, however after turning the key to the ON position, the blinking light eventually turns solid which indicates the slide can be extended/retracted. I does, but when I return the key to to off position, the air seal does not reinflate. It worked properly when I first got the Summit (used a few weeks back), but now it does not seem to work. The reset light also does not go out once reset, indicating an issue, which could be indicative of the front right kick-down jack that is partially extended in the stowed position. This particular jack does not kick-down when the leveling system is activated. Just not sure if the leveling and room slide systems are interconnected in any way other the hydraulics that are used to deploy them both..
Any thoughts on the room seal issue?

Just now posting for the first time...looking forward to sharing my 2004 Chinook Summit project with all those interested. The HWH system is a challenge for sure...Still wrestling with the slide outs. There doesnt seem to be a manual retract hex nut or even an eyelet anywhere on the rig. There is also the matter of the mechanical moving parts for the front (Jacknife Couch slider) being unaccessible. I'm stumped as to how this is supposed to be serviceable at all! Gonna try cracking open the solenoids and giving it a good push in for starters. Cheers!
