The previous owner cut the rear outdoor shower in half and I would like to reinstall a working outdoor shower. I've removed the old shower box and bought a new one from Amazon, but recently learned that all of the newer outdoor shower boxes are larger than the original one. This wouldn't usually be an issue, but since the newer ones are slightly taller, they do not sit flush on the exterior due to the curved rear wall.
The exterior flanges on the original boxes are 7 3/4" x 12 3/4" while the news ones are 8 1/2" x 13 1/2". Where would I find a outdoor shower unit that has the same dimensions as the original?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Replacement Outdoor Shower
Ok, so I was finally able to resolve this issue. The original shower box is smaller than what most manufactures currently produce, as a result, the new shower box I purchased would not sit flush with the exterior wall due to the bump out from the exterior storage compartment.
To solve this, I made the cutout 1/2" larger (in the direction of the roof) thus allowing the new shower box to be installed 1/2" higher than previous. The shower box now sits flush with the exterior wall. I also added a new wood backing for the screws to grab onto since the previous wood backing had rotted away and two layers of butyl tape between the shower flange and exterior wall to seal everything.
If I've overlooked something, please let me know. I hope this helps someone in the future.
