In the compartment that contains the batteries to the right water collects. It’s a 2004 concourse. I have caused but after a heavy rain there is water inside.
Any ideas where it’s coming from?
Leak
Re: Leak
I had a leak into that battery compartment on the driver's side once. Even though the compartment is fiberglass all around (you can see if you go underneath the vehicle), at least in mine there is a seam along the top. When I had some rainwater collect in the water heater compartment above it during heavy rains, some dribbled though a gap in the caulking on the inside (along where the inner metal frame meets the outer frame which holds the door). It didn't come inside the coach like you might think it would, but ran along that seam and into the battery compartment. Once I added some caulking on the inside of the hot water heater (just in behind the door), so any water coming into the compartment would just drain right back out again like its supposed to, the water into the batteries stopped.

Re: Leak
Mine is a 2000, and the door hinges on the bottom. For the 2004, I think the hinge is on the top. Did you check the gaskets around the compartment and see if they are water tight? Can be water running down, and get into the compartment that way.

Re: Leak
They changed the 2000 in mid model. Some 2000 has the shore power and water in the same door, some have separate compartment for them (older ones). I suspect the change is related to how the battery compartment hinge is located, but I am not 100% sure.BobW9 wrote: October 3rd, 2022, 11:19 am Weird. My Concourse is a 2000, also, and I have hinges at the top. I would have preferred the bottom.
