4x4 conversion
I have most everything needed to do a chinook 4x4 Quigley conversion; I have already converted two chinooks to 4x4 including my own 2000 diesel chinook concourse using this system. I was going to do a third one but my restoration shop is just too busy to justify all of the work necessary to do the work; I have the Quigley dana 60 front axle with rebuilt 4.10 limit slip gearing, radius arms, dually hubs (machined for abs) with original Chinook bolt pattern; NV273 transfer case; Quigley crossmember braces, Quigley track bar and bracket. You would need to convert your transmission to 4x4; source either lift blocks or new leaf springs for the rear, new driveshafts (different length), shocks misc. I would recommend getting the shocks and front coil springs from Agile offroad in San Diego; The sell a quigley "upgrade kit" which consists of progressive springs, fox shocks and a sway bar lowering kit; The Quigley package is fairly modest as conversions go. (probably 2.5 inch lift) and it uses the quigly 4x4 geometry which is obviously proven. I really do not want to ship these parts. So pick up at my shop in El Cajon, Ca. I am happy to offer advice and discuss your project. If you do not have a background in 4x4 steering geometry or have a reliable professional source to do this conversion, this may not be for you. Welding skills are a must. Obviously my own rig is available to view the finished product; $5000 firm for everything I have. Mark in San Diego; 619 997-9954
