Is anybody towing a trailer if so what size I’ve been thinking of a 5-8ft or a 6-8 my tong spec is 800lbs need to carry chairs bbq table and so on.Can anybody give me their experience on this subject.

I often tow my CR-V, and I don't even feel it back there. I think I remember seeing at least one person on here towing a boat with theirs. I wouldn't expect a small trailer with camping furniture to be any trouble, but I haven't actually used it for that.

What about the step any problem with tight corners thanks for your reply

I think most people use an extended hitch, so unless the trailer is more than 90 degree, it should not interfere with the step. Depends on how many chairs and tables, you maybe able to carry them without trailer. I know a couple who put lawn chairs on their ladders, and a plastic table on the roof.

Oh, yeah, I can't put down my step while I'm towing, and I did get a hitch with a slightly longer length, and a riser to bring it up to the car's bumper height.

I also had to upgrade the wiring to a 5-pin round connector (mine had a 3-pin flat connector) to support my braking assist system.

And I really liked adding one of those stick-on prisms to the back window because then I could see my car behind me without leaning over to see it with the side mirror. I think I'd want that with a small trailer as well.

I am trying to figure out what wireless backup camera is good for the Chinook. I think it is useful for the rig, with or without trailer.

Great tips guys thanks so much got the extra long fitting for the hitch and then the ball should be fine now.
