Bought this off Craigslist Sacramento area & had Roadrunner transport it up to Central Oregon. Only 49k miles & hardy used -except the drivers seat leather. Torn & worn & stained leather. Hope to have it re-upholstered?
One issue: Manchester Propane tank- it was empty, had it filled yesterday, not overfilled, just 13.7 gallons. Turned the valve handle & large cloud of propane vapor comes hissing out towards the ground. When I quickly turned it off, it took oh, about 10 seconds to completely stop the flow of propane. Phew! When I took it back to where it was filled I was told they only fill them not fix them. The propane system is usually basic & simple---until it's not!!
My first projects are remove the microwave, remove the couch, replace florescent fixtures, confirm the tires age.
So, nice to be back in a Chinook!

That's the Chinook with the special order leather interior? I was watching that one to see how quickly it would sell.

Look nice! How much did Roadrunner charge you for the transport service? Did they do it on flat bed, or a covered wagon? I am just curious, if you don't mind.terriv wrote: October 18th, 2020, 7:12 am Bought this off Craigslist Sacramento area & had Roadrunner transport it up to Central Oregon.

1) what will you do with the space where the microwave was?
2) what are you going to do with where the couch was
3) what fixtures are you going to use instead of the flourescent ones.
cheers, and congrats, looks clean.
